The most prevalent problem that people have is trying to get their Instagram followers to actually view their photos. This is a pain in the a$$, since the best results will come from sharing images that your followers can see, rather than a generic image that is not representative of you.
The problem is that when you add visuals to your posts, you’re essentially asking people to click on them. As a result, most people who view your posts are going to click on the visuals, and if not, they’re going to scroll right past them because they’re not going to read the post.
Thats the beauty of it. You can get the same effect by using a post filter like InstaGif or InstaHair. The difference is that the filters are essentially invisible to your followers, but the visuals are there and easy to see.
Instagram has a few filters that can be used to add visuals like this. One, called “Verve,” which is used to add a graphic to a photo, usually a close-up of a person. On Instagram, this is only visible to you (i.e. not your followers). Another, called “Hair,” is usually used to add an image to a photo, or to add text to a photo.

I don’t know if its the edit or just the sheer amount of edits you make that makes you feel like youve crossed an invisible line. But one thing I do know is that the fewer edits you make, the cleaner your pictures look. So if you ever feel like youve crossed that invisible line, just take a break and go for a walk.
Instagram is a great tool for self-promotion. The way you want your pictures to look can effect how many people see them. But you can also make your images look more professional if you’re careful about how you edit them. A small number of edits will really affect your image’s quality, but you can always make more if you’re starting from a clean slate.
